MBS activities 2009-2010

This Power Point was presented during the College of Science year plan for AY 2009-2010 that David and I attended.  Activities here were very general since the Executive Board at that time haven’t decided yet on the details. Bolinao, Panggasinan

May 22-24, 2010

My first dive trip for the summer with MBS! 330am meet up at Victory Liner, Cubao for the 4.30am trip. Unfortunately bus for Bolinao was at 7.30am. We decided to take the 4.30am trip to Alaminos so we won’t waste time. Past 9am we arrived Alaminos and met Sj’s family. Breakfast as Mcdo! We were suppose to wait for Jun and Hazel at Alaminos but because it will take a few more hours before they arrive we headed to Bolinao already. Past 12pm we were at Bolinao. 

Our lodging was nice! Yeahay. Kitchen, air conditioned rooms, clean bathroom, and chill tambayan spot! For lunch we had chicken, watermelon for dessert. Played UNO cards after to kill time. Not just the ordinary UNO cards, ours had a UFO device! In the afternoon we went to a public beach, skimmed and sun baked our skin. The beach wasn’t clean though. There were lots of lumot floating.

Dinner time! Inihaw na isda, watermelon and siniguelas for dessert. Yum!

Socials! Tamang inuman while playing our favorite UNO cards. Fun and good times with MBS! Thanks for the comapany and thank you bespren Jeddan, pinaiyak mo ko.

The next day, dive! Boat ride going to the dive site. The current was so strong though, I felt dizzy. The site was nice but didn’t beat seamate! Before going back, the boat man showed us the century old mangrove and a spring where the people get their drinking water. He even showed us some of the innovative boats they use, remnants of some planes during world war!  How amazing. Proof that Filipinos are really creative and innovative.

By 5pm heard mass. The best dinner I had the entire trip! Inihaw na liempo, isaw, crab/corn soup then mango for dessert! Sarap!!!

Chill trip! Super enjoy. Next time ulit. Let’s explore their dive sites.

From Panggasinan dive to The Fort dive

Ang matagal nang naplanong Panggasinan dive, nauwi sa isang slumber party sa The Fort!

Long weekend kasi kaya dapat lang na umalis pero dahil maraming nag back out… ayun nag “dive” nalang sa condo ni Neka. First dive spot, Market Market para sa Laser Tag. Yey! First time ko maglaser tag. Dahil competitve kaming MBS, on the look out kami sa mga kalaban. Kaso may dayaang naganap. Biglang may mga blue team na kalaban. TSk! Habol lang sila at wala man lang pasabi na may bagong dating na kalaban. Masaya siya! May nginig effect sa katawan pag natataman ka ng kalaban.
Sundo sa IT, market time! Sosyal market namin, sa grocery kami namili ng pangdinner at breakfast.

Next sa IT, set camp. Saan? Sa condo ni Neka. Tapos dinner prep na. Yey! Sarap ng dinner. Pasta by Roy and Japanese style food. Kanya kanyang luto ng squid, tuna, crab sticks, gulay. Easy as 1-2-3. Sawsaw sa kikoman and sesame oil tapos prito mo na sa electric pan. Sobrang nabusog ako. Pagkatapos ng dinner, socials na. Inuman tapos kwentuhan. Onga pala, dahil dive un, naka beach attire kami!

Tapos kinabukasan, movie marathon! Brunch sa Inasal tapos movie ulit paguwi. Maganda pala ung Vampire Diaries. Panibagong series na pagkakaabalahan ko!

Oh diba.. kakaibang dive. Kung hindi kami makakapunta sa beach, pede namang daling ung beach sa lungsod!

Thursday Movie Night

Yesterday was MBS Week- Raise the Reef 2010 Day 4. Activity for the day: Movie night sponsored by the Externals. White screen, projector, speakers, laptop were prepared. Chips and drinks to satisfy our stomach.

We watched the Deep blue Sea. It was a thrilling movie. Surprising and will definitely make you scream. View this for the synopsis.

I didn’t finish the movie anymore. Left around 8.20pm

When I got home, got a text from Ernest informing me that someone from IB made a surprise visit to our tambs. He wondered why there were still people at that time. Mems got surprised as well! Threatened Ernest that he will talk to our adviser. He even looked for me as I am the current President.

I hope everything will turn out ok. Besides, it’s MBS week. Maybe they’ll understand. On a positive note, good thing there weren’t any alcohol.  Whew!

MBS cookout

Third Day of MBS week Raise The Reef 2010. Today’s activity: Grand Cookout hosted by TMC. Menu- Barbecue, eggplant, green mango, tomato, onions, bagoong=ensalada. Very Delicious. Eat all you can at 50pesos. 70pesos with bottomless drink. Not bad! I ate 3 sticks of barbecue. By the way I brought ice cream. Everyone loved it.

During lunch we had the nomination for the next EB AY2020-11. I’ll post all the nominees soon.

Tomorrow we’ll have the movie night at the tambs. Can’t wait!
